Evidence shows that people who combine regular physical activity with good nutrition are more successful at losing weight and keeping it off.  To get optimum results we recommend resistance training - working on all the major muscle groups, a minimum of twice a week. Resistance training enables your body to remodel and heal the tiny tears to muscle tissue, making it stronger.  

 

This helps in two ways:

 

  • The more muscle you build, the more calories you’ll burn off each day

  • The rebuilding process itself requires more energy, boosting your daily calorie burn by up to a further 10%

We use Power Plates to get more bang for your buck when it comes to resistance training.  Power Plates adopt the principles of acceleration training to stimulate the body’s natural response to vibration. However, if you’re not into huge vibrators…you’ll still get a damn good workout – we just don’t switch the Plates on!

 

As it’s Personal Training, we gauge all sessions to our client’s level of fitness and ability – don’t forget, low Intensity works too!
