35 or above?
Nutrition for your age
& your stage

Do you want to unlock stubborn fat loss, especially in the middle?

A change in hormone profile is highly likely to mean more fat stored around your waist and tummy, hence the term ‘middle-age spread.’  Add to this, the fact women’s muscle mass (and bone mass) starts to decrease rapidly from midlife onwards, meaning metabolism slows, and the vast majority of women might not look or feel in the great shape they’d like.

Midlife metabolism, which can be defined simply as all the bodily systems that keep us alive, is where the unwelcome side effects of ageing and changing hormones begin to accumulate.  There is usually a pattern: weight gain, sluggishness, skin changes, gut issues and, every woman’s enemy, the energy slump.  And then there are the hormonal changes.  The misfires of stress-induced cortisol, oestrogen dominance and plummeting progesterone – in many cases causing hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings, anxiety, and loss of libido.

No matter where you are on this rollercoaster, it is important to acknowledge that all these systems and all these changes are interconnected.  Take action, or fail to, in a particular area, and it will affect all the others.  Remember it’s two fold - (1) get prepared for what's coming i.e. Perimenopause - the healthier you are the better you'll deal with symptoms and/or the less symptoms you may get, and (2) simply tune into how your body works in midlife.  You'll be amazed how a combinations of small changes, made gradually, can make all the difference.

When a flower doesn't bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows...not the flower.

So how can I help?

At your initial consultation, we’ll delve into the information you’ll have provided in advance, in my ‘All About You’ questionnaire. We’ll dig deep and discuss your symptoms, the aim being to come up with positive steps and practical protocols tailored to you in your Nutrition & Lifestyle Plan.  It’s a 6-week plan which we then review and tweak as we monitor your progress.  Your coaching sessions take you well beyond 6 weeks - that's just the start!

Eating a diet that nourishes on all levels, moving and sleeping in a better way, and helping your body heal more effectively, can have a huge impact on all areas of your health and wellbeing.  Arming you with the facts i.e. what’s changing and why, will make it easier to get on board with habit changes that you may need to make moving forwards.
